From June 6^th to 10^th, 2008, the 16^th Kunming International Import & Export Commodities Fair (Kunming Fair) was held in Kunming. This fair was firstly sponsored by Ministry of Commerce with more apparent orientation intention of facing markets in GMS (Greater Mekong Sub-region), Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and South Asia. Groups from 23 domestic provinces, Hong Kong and Taiwan attended the fair, and 17 countries including Czechoslovakia, Australia, Russia, France and Japan besides ASEAN countries applied for the exhibition. after 16 years’ effort, Kunming Fair is on the process of becoming a regional fair facing South East Asia and South Asia, integrated tangible goods trade, service trade and cross-border investment with international economic corporation, which is playing more and more important role in improving the circulation of productive elements, upgrade of consumption structure and regional economy integration as a way of enhancing the Economic Cooperation in Greater Mekong Sub-region as well as a platform of propelling export-oriented economic development in Southwestern Area in China.

Anhui Jianghuai Yinlian Heavy-Duty Construction Machine Co., Ltd. (Jianghuai Heavy-Duty Company) has attended Kunming Fair for five times. Jianghuai Heavy-Duty Company and its dealer in Yunnan Area—Kunming Jianghuai Commerce Co., Ltd. paid a lot of attention on this fair, who had made much preparation in advance, including the selection of exhibited models and arrangement solution of exhibition stage. Among the exhibited models of Jianghuai Heavy-Duty Company, CPC33 is the special forklift truck developed specially for the wood industry in China. Considering the features of dust, overload, high purchase price and use cost of 3.5T truck in the wood industry, Jianghuai Heavy-Duty Company made improvements on the key parts such as air inlet system, rack, counterweight, water container and so on. This model won higher customer loyalty and production recognition in Kunming, Puer and West Yunnan area in the two years after entering the market. On this fair, 6 units were ordered on spot, of which 4were CPC33 and the other 2 are electric forklifts. The dealers of Jianghuai Heavy-Duty Company in Yunnan Area kept an increasing margin of sales accomplishment more than 50% annually in three years. Influenced by the unfavorable factors that the price of raw materials such as steel keeps raising in 2008, the company is still expected to break through hundreds of units for sales in Yunnan in the whole year.

Some merchant guests from ASEAN appreciated a lot about the arrangement of Jianghuai’s exhibition stage and exhibited forklift trucks. They said that JAC light-duty trucks were famous in their countries and they trusted on the product quality and value of JAC brand. Some merchant guests expressed their intention to conduct investigation and establish cooperation relationship.

Through attending the fair in successive years, Jianghuai Heavy-Duty Company transferred their JAC brand’s image and connotation as Handling Expert Deserving from Auto Quality. It is sure that JAC will become the most stunning forklift brand in Yunnan area in future after continuous effort.

In addition, Passenger Vehicle Company of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group also attended the fair with their products, such as Binyue car, Refine business vehicle and Rein SUV.
